Lost Myths, Lost Souls [Before the dawn of all the myths that ever would be sung]

End of Days

As raindrops fall
Each perfect symmetry is born
With cusps and horns and jewelled pearls
That capture roses from the dawn

All moving out in silent rings
These silver ones are soft
And moving bands of crested things
That bear my heart aloft

But as the orb of earth did sweep
Across my wide flung land
The rose red flash of life did seep
From every moving band

Then gentle twilight
Breath of God
Whispered
Havoc on your canvas
Ruffled out your ranks

Night?

No more your beauties like the sun
...........
All done?

My soul will sigh for you; My mind will cry for you; My heart will die for you
I weep for you until my Night is come
